Day 29- choose brown carbs over white

Too many of us eat white carbs
White carbs are refined grains like white rice, pasta, white bread, crackers, noodles, tortillas, wraps, anything with white flour and breading. The nutrients have been removed in the production process, leaving them high in calories but low in nutrients. They also cause unhealthy spikes in  sugar levels
Instead,
Go for brown carbs (unrefined complex carbs) instead, like brown rice, whole grain, oats, oatmeal, legumes, nuts. These come with nutrients and vitamins intact.

Don’t fall for the “enriched whole grain” bread or if it as that as an ingredient. all that is is white bread which had been stripped to make it white bread then they add in all the nutrients back….seems a little excessive does it not? I don’t even want to imagine all the processes and chemical treatments it’s all been through to make “healthy” carb products. Look for whole grain in the ingredient list.
