Day 3- Easy hummus

Hummus is often forgotten. It is so much more than a munchie at a party. It is a healthy way to snack. The recipe below is oh so simple and may take you 15 min. Combine this with some veggies such as cucumber, tomato, celery,carrot etc. if you need more grain servings add some whole wheat pita bread.
Just make sure that you feed this to your significant other so you can have garlic breath together 😉

  * 1 clove garlic
  * 1 (19 ounce) can garbanzo beans, keep some liquid/water to adjust consistency
  * 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  * 2 tablespoons tahini
  * cumin to taste
  * 1 teaspoon salt
  * black pepper to taste
  * 2 tablespoons olive oil

Add the garlic garbanzo beans, lemon juice and tahini to a food processor or blender. Blend.
Add the remainder of ingredients and blend until combined and at the consistency you prefer. Add water/liquid left over from the can to adjust consistency.
